Individual Therapy

(Virtual TN/MO & In Person Washinton, MO)

I sit with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, and just not like themselves work through the pain of their past, and the difficulties in their inner and outer worlds so that they can feel at home inside themselves. I want my clients to feel like the life they have is completely aligned with who they are, and who they are, they love being. Some of the populations I have passion in working with are:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Bipolar
  • PTSD
  • Women’s Issues
  • Family conflict
  • Boundaries

  • Grief and Loss
  • Chronic Illness
  • LGBTQ+ Support
  • Disruptive/Chaotic Childhood
  • Mass Trauma/Crisis
  • Food or Body Image Issues
  • Stage of Life Changes and Transitions

Individual therapy sessions are 50-minute sessions.

Couples Therapy

(Virtual TN/MO & In Person Washinton, MO)

Our romantic relationship is a place we want and even need to feel safest and it can be very distressing when it is a place of intensity and discomfort. I help couples outline and intervene in the cycle they engage in that leaves them feeling disconnected, indifferent, or angry at their partner.

I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) that assists couples in sending direct messages to one another about their needs, fears, and hurts within their relationship.

Couples sessions are 50-minute sessions.

Trauma Intensives

(Virtual TN/MO & In Person Washinton, MO)

Trauma can leave us feeling like it is difficult to live inside our own body, like we are constantly fighting with negative thoughts, and like being in “survival mode” is the only option. This is not our fault, the body and brain are trying to protect us all the time, and sometimes it needs help

moving through the past. I use Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting (BSP) to assist the body, brain, and overall system to organize, feel, and release stuck emotions and body sensations that trauma can leave behind.

Common symptoms of trauma include:

  • Recurrent, unwanted distressing memories
  • Upsetting dreams or nightmares
  • Severe emotional distress or physical reactions to places, activities, or people
  • Trying to avoid thinking or talking about certain topics
  • Negative thoughts about yourself, other people, or the world
  • Hopelessness about the future
  • Difficulty maintaining close relationships
  • Feeling detached from family, friends, self
  • Difficulty experiencing positive emotions
  • Feeling emotionally numb
  • Being easily startled or frightened
  • Always being on guard for danger
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Trouble concentrating
  • Irritability, angry outbursts or aggressive behavior
  • Overwhelming guilt or shame

EMDR and BSP can be utilized in a 50-minute session, as well as collaborative customizable intensive time allotments.

$110-150 per session. I am currently in network with United Health Care Insurance
